Join us for Bible Study on Monday evenings at 6PM in our Fellowship Hall. For 2026, Rev. Berry is teaching The Gospels using "Four Gospels, One Jesus," by Richard Burridge.  Sometimes we enjoy the baking/cooking prowess of our congregants as they bring treats to share.  For those unable to attend in person, we do offer a Zoom option. Our choir is under the direction of Rev. Kerrie Clayton. We welcome all voices and skill levels to join us. 

We sing in worship on the first and third Sundays of each month. Practice is on the Wednesday before those Sundays at 6PM in our Sanctuary and just before worship.

Rev. Shannon Marie Berry was appointed to Monk Memorial UMC in August of 2023. Rev. Berry is an Elder in Full Connection in the North Carolina Annual Conference, originally from the Holston AC and east Tennessee, and a graduate of Methodist Theological School in Ohio. She works at the University of Mount Olive as the Associate Director of Christian Parenting, along with teaching Women in the Bible and the Practicum.
